Status
Local on Norfolk heathland, recorded in small numbers annually, circa 10 records. 2021 was an exceptional year for the species with nearly 100 specimens recorded.

A declining species in the UK

Larvae feed on Heather, with adults on the wing quite late in the season, mainly September.

Recorded in 39 (53%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1873.
